Just outside Florence to the west take the Pisa-Livorno exit (it's the one after Scandicci exit). The highway is called FI PI LI. Pass the Lastra a Signa exit, a Q( gas station on the right, and after the 14 km. marker take the Ginestra F.na exit and curve around to the right into Ginestra. You are now following the Montespertoli signs. In Ginestra just before the pharmacy on the right (with a neon green cross) TURN RIGHT there's a sign pointing to Montespertoli. Go up a loopy switchback road (not turning left to the Poppiano, but staying on the road to Volterra). Montespertoli is on the top of the hill. DON'T turn left into the town but stay on the new road swinging around to the right of town past some new apartments. At the stop sign, TURN RIGHT to Castelfiorentino. Past the above ground cemetery on the left that looks like a motel in the night. Ther's a 3-way intersection and a stop sign. There will be a blue and white Le Boscarecce sign in front of you. TURN LEFT. Wind down on the overpass into Castelfiorentino. At the stop light a U turn to the right (there's a Le Boscarecce sign on the post). Veer right on via A.Vivaldi, the road to Renai (3 km.). A dirt road will cross the road and few yards later veer to right at Le Boscarecce sign under the bridge. It's an old paved road with grapes on the right. Go over a little bridge and the road curves to the left. Stay on the pavement going up rather deep switchbacks. At the top of the hill at the dumpster DO NOT take the gravel road to the right, but TURN LEFT with the paved road. There's a sign saying 'di Pizzacalda' for encouragement, and a small sign to Renai. Just at house on the left the road will change to gravel, at the T in the road (where the promised pizza is on the right), there's a Le Boscarecce sign. Turn left in about 2 km. the Le Boscarecce gates will be straight ahead. Push the buzzer to enter.
