BY CAR: FROM FLORENCE AMERIGO VESPUCCI AIRPORT: Join the 'Viali di Circonvallazione' (ring road around the centre of Florence) and head south towards Piazza della Libertà . Stay on the ring road, passing Piazzale Donatello then Piazza Beccaria, until you reach the river Arno. Turn left and drive alongside the river, then down the Lungarno Pecori Giraldi. Continue until you see the name of the street changing first to Lungarno del Tempio, then to Lungarno Cristoforo Colombo. The Hotel Ville sull'Arno will then be on your right, close to the Da Verrazzano Bridge. FROM PISA GALILEO GALILEI AIRPORT: Take the A11 motorway, heading south towards Rome, then take the 'Firenze Sud' exit. FROM NORTHERN/SOUTHERN ITALY: We recommend that you take the 'Firenze Sud' exit of the A1 motorway. FROM THE 'FIRENZE SUD' EXIT: After the toll point, carry straight on and follow the signs for 'Centro città '. When you get to the bridge on the river Arno, take a left at the traffic lights and keep driving on the Lungarno, the street running alongside the river, (called Lungarno Aldo Moro). After the second traffic lights the Lungarno's name becomes Lungarno Cristoforo Colombo. The hotel will be on your left (on the river side), just before the traffic lights at the crossing with the Da Verrazzano Bridge. PARKING: Free parking is available in the courtyard and there is also a free private underground garage.
