BY CAR: The nearest motorway is the one skirting Lugano. From here take the Lugano Sud exit. Once you reach the lake turn left, then stay in the right-hand lane. This will take you out of Lugano towards Porlezza (13km from Lugano). BY TRAIN/CAR: After leaving Lugano station, turn right and continue straight on until the first traffic lights. Here turn left until you reach the promenade. Once you reach the lake, turn left then follow the directions above to Porlezza. BY BOAT: Follow the above directions to Lugano promenade. Just opposite the Tourist Information Office you will find the jetty. A boat departs from here to Porlezza at 1415.
