BY MOTORWAY: From Rome to Sorrento, it takes about 2 1/2 hours (245 KM). Take the motor-way in the direction of Naples, then follow direction of Penisola Sorrentina. When you arrive in Castellamare (the exit after Pompei) follow the direction of Sorrento. Just before the entrance of Sorrento, you will see on the left side up on the hill, Hotel Cristina. You will find Hotel Central 250 metres on the right hand side after the entrance of Sorrento. BY TRAIN: From Rome, take the train Rome- Naples. From the train station in Naples take the train (CIRCUMVESUVIANA line) that runs frequently (every 30 minutes from 5:00 hrs to 22:30 hrs). From Naples to Sorrento it takes about one hour, the cost is approx Euro 3,50 per person. BY BUS: From Rome you can take the bus that leaves from Roma Stazione Tiburtina at 15:00 hrs (only on workdays) and arrives in Sorrento at 18:45 hrs. The cost is Euro 15,50 per person (there is also a bus leaving at 7.00 a.m. only on Fri, Sat and Sun).
