By car arriving from the north: Take the A1 motorway; exit at Valdichiana (n. 28) and take the left turning for Montepulciano - Chiusi. After about 5 kilometres, in Torrita di Siena turn left at the traffic lights and follow the directions for Montepulciano. After about 8 kilometres, in Montepulciano follow the directions for Pienza. At the crossroads known as Bivio di San Biagio go straight and take the SS146 for Pienza.Proceed for 800 metres, after which the entrance to the il Girasole B&B is on the left. By car arriving from the south: Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole; exit at Chiusi-Chianciano Terme (n 29). Follow the directions for Chianciano Terme (about 10 kilometres), go through the town of Chianciano and follow the directions for Montepulciano (about 9 kilometres). In Montepulciano at the crossroads known as Bivio di San Biagio, turn left for Pienza proceed for 800 meters after which the entrance to the Girasole B&B is on the left.
